We start the day at 9am at McBride’s in the Square, 1-3 The Square, Comber. BT23 5DX for a bacon bap, tea/ coffee. (Veg option available if requested). We will then drive down the Ards Peninsula where we will stop at an old club favourite at Kirkiston race track (11am) for a few laps of the track. (Please check your insurance as AOVC will not cover racing). From there we will head though the scenic countryside towards Echlinville Distillery where toilets, the distillers café and possibly some of the owner’s collection. Echlinville will be providing scones, tea / coffee in the afternoon for all. Dogs welcome as there are walks on site. Those that wish can book a tour of the Distillery and Echlinville have kindly agreed a 10% discount on their gin/ whiskey. At approximately 4 pm we will take a leisurely drive back to Comber to enjoy our evening meal at McBride’s and Ballot. Fee: £Â£27. / person
