Downe Old Car Club
We are an old vehicle club that organises about 12 outings per year. We also attend many other Vintage Rallies across the County of Down and further afield. All vehicles that meet our age criteria are very welcome. Our joining fee is very reasonable at £10.00 per year.

Downe Old Car Club
The Downe Old Car Club was formed at a meeting in The Old Inn, Killough, County Down on Thursday 26th October 1977.
There were 19 people present at that meeting and officers were elected to serve with the first outing set for Easter 1978.
The club has grown steadily from that time and as is inevitable with the passing of time changes happen.
The club attends various vintage and charity events throughout the season and also organise about 15 club events each year for the members, 12 of these will be vehicle outings to various locations.
The present membership stands at 72 of which 40 would be active members in the sense of being at several outings each year.
The members cars are a very diverse affair as we are not a one make club; we have cars from 1928 up to 1967 but that is our cut-off point as the club has a strict rule that all vehicles taking part in club events must have been registered on or before 31st December 1967.

Monthly Meetings: The Downe Old Car Club meet in the Saintfield Community Centre, 29 Belfast Road, Saintfield, BT24 7HS on the first Friday of February, May, and October at [time pm]. Our Annual General Meeting takes place in November.
